CHEAP AND THE BEST CAMERAS FOR YOUTUBE BEGINNERS

Updated: Nov 1

It is surprising to note that in recent days there has been remarkable demand for the best cameras for YouTube. Nobody will deny that today YouTube has become one of the biggest and the most popular web platforms to express one’s creativity in terms of video content. YouTube virtually becomes the craze for every individual. Now every household has more or less a YouTube enthusiast. Even school students are not lagging behind in this venture.

The underlying forces that are responsible for attracting people to YouTube are perhaps:-

1. The joy of creating new things visually and be able to share with the entire world with ease.

2. To become an internet and YouTube celebrity in the near future.

3. The massive allurement of earning passive income and someday become rich.

4. The Covid-19 pandemic scenario worldwide has forced people to explore new ways of online income and venture into YouTube video making.

With the indomitable interest and enthusiasm many famous YouTubers, in the beginning, had started recording videos with whatever devices they had with them. The only device one can name was iPhone or smartphone. Many of them even did not have iPhones.

Initially, this endeavor might have somewhat satisfied their thirst and might have gained their success too.

But over a period of time, the quality of YouTube content in terms of visual and audio has undergone a sea change. The viewers have developed a taste for high-quality content. And this trend is moving upwards day by day. Meaning, that YouTube as a platform has become extremely competitive and challenging. If a video creator is unable to keep pace with the trend in maintaining the visual as well as audio quality, getting views and gaining new subscribers will be a real nightmare.

And you know if there will be no new subscribers there will be no income or no increase in the income.

For this reason, a new creator needs a recording device that is technically more up-to-date and dependable to start with. Recording videos with the latest smartphones is fine, but they have certain limitations. Their functionalities cannot be compared with those of compact cameras or high-end cameras. A camera is convenient in all respects and hence it instills confidence.

It does not matter whether it is very costly or cheap, but what is required is it must have the capability of recording Full HD video in the format 1920x1080P and should have the capability of recording clean stereophonic audio. The good news is that the base-level cheap cameras are capable of doing these jobs quite efficiently. In fact, they are built for that, though their limited features are not comparable with those of the top-end models. It must be remembered that the top-end models are for the advanced, experienced, and high-income earning YouTubers. For their expertise and multifarious activities they absolutely need high-end feature-rich devices. Because of their high-income status, they can easily afford them. But a new beginner cannot. But all new YouTubers have the option to upgrade their devices any time during their YouTube career once they are well established.

However, these cheap models should not be underestimated. Indeed, these are best suited for YouTube beginners for the following reasons:

  • The prices are pocket-friendly.

  • The models serve the purposes of a YouTube beginner full HD video and Audio recording.

  • The sets are very light and hence don’t need costly tripods.

  • These have WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

  • The sensors though small are highly advanced.

  • Some models are associated with VR technology.

  • Some of them have touch screen control and some have a Time-Lapse recording feature.

  • A few have tilted screens too.

In the olden days, these features with cheap cameras were almost non-existent and unheard of.

Yet most YouTubers who are well set now used a simple camera and started their channels.

Now the new creators are in an advantageous position, as they can have cheap cameras as and when desired and start a YouTube channel right away.

With this idea in mind, we have attempted to choose some cheap camera sets that are available in the markets that might be found to be useful for new creators.

How do we define cheap?
